Problem

Today is the third day of my 31 Days of Five Minute Free Writes.  The prompt for today is “Problem”.  When you have a problem, who do you go to for help.  This week we have had two different problems with our 12-passenger van.  The first problem was a flat tire. For that problem, we went to a tire place to get the tire repaired.  Fortunately, it happend while my husband was at work and we had another tire at the house that we were able to take to the shop to get it fixed. Then we also had to enlist AAA for roadside assistance when my husband could not get the lug nuts off when we arrived back at my husband’s work location.  Fortunately, that problem did not cost us anything.

However, yesterday I was driving the van and I had the misfortune of going to Aldi to get a few items.  When I came out, our van would not start.  So I called my husband and he came to jump us.  In the process of waiting for him, I had to deal with the “problem” of making sure no one parked in front of us.  Then we had to go replace the battery.

While these are minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of life, they could have become much larger issues if we let them overwhelm us.

So what comes to mind when you hear the word “problem”?  I would love to hear from you.  If you would like to read my other posts in this series, click here or on the graphic below.
