31 Scriptures of Love, Hope, Joy, and Faith – Day 8

31 Scriptures of Love, Hope, Joy and Faith1

Today is day 8 of my 31 Scriptures of Love, Hope, Joy, and Faith series.  Today’s Scripture is found in the book of James.  Here is the Scripture.  Patience demands one put away one’s own desires for either other people or other things.  It challenges us in ways we can not imagine.  But when it comes to our faith, we need to recognize that all things happen in God’s time rather than our own time.  This idea means we have to as the phrase says, “Let go and Let God.”  God knows what is best for us, even though we may not want to wait to see what is best for ourselves.
